Confectioners Glaze is widely used in the food industry. Its main uses are to coat citrus fruit to protect them and for coating chocolates and confectionery to create a polished look.
In the cake decorating industry its uses include glazing gumpaste foliage to create an authentic shine. Further more it is an excellent paint medium when used in conjunction with powdered colourings or pearl lusters. This creates an almost water-proof seal for creating magnificent paint effects.
It can restore ‘sugar bloom’ in chocolates and candy and is also an ideal medium for chocolate painting.
Brushes or tools used in Confectioners Glaze can only be cleaned with Glaze Cleaner.
